Description: |
Train 4631 heads south through 'RACE', named after the once popular Garden State Park horse racetrack built in 1942. 'Race trains' used to stop here filled to the brim with gamblers during the race season. Now, nothing is left of the track except the old gatehouse off Rt. 70. The entire site has been transformed into a 'town center' with several big name stores, condos, and restaurants. |
